F.A.V.A. (Female Artist Vow of Adolescence)

by Nightmare³ {Aries} - Not entered

#137

Some may spend their lives this way,
Trying to be ahead of their age.
They say it's just all freedom,
They're just escaping from The Cage.

They live their lives of Gossip,
Live their life of Boys.
But in this stage of adolescence,
You girls are nothing but toys.

But we decided things are different,
We decided to make an impact.
When we're gone our art will live on,
While expression is what you've lacked.

We're lost in the depths of our minds,
While you're out making a date.
We're the ones that chose to stay home,
We're the ones predicting your fate.

Art is power,
Art gives you freedom,
Your guy will chain you down,
Is that really what you see in him?

Reason for writing:

    8th grade girls...
