Hearts

by Sharon/Cancer - Not entered

I see your words
I hear your voice
My heart still cries inside
I wish I had
A place to go
Where I wouldn't have to hide.

How brave you are
to comfort me
When your heart cries out in pain
I've never met
A soul like yours
Nor ever will again.

My halo may be tarnished
My wings won't let me fly
But if God will someday
hear my prayers
I'll thank him till I die.

Oh please God send
this love to me
and let the angels sing
Let there be love
Let there be peace
As only you can bring.

But for now I'll wait
and say my prayers
and hope that he can hear
I know he's probably busy now
and may not see my tears.

Reason for writing:

    Life's waiting game.
