gleam of purple

by FA - Not entered

I was alone in the dark and tears ran red
I cried and screamed as my soul bled
A soft, silken wind
Gentle rushing of velvet wings

Her dark feathers covered my face
As I gladly surrendered to her embrace
Her soft voice filled the air
With each note, erasing my despair

Ebony wings, with a purple gleam
My angel came to me in a dream...

Reason for writing:

ok ok... it boosts my ego when people write to me so E-mail me fer comments/critics/suggestions
