Don't Leave Me In This Cold

by TheCroc88 Leo - Not entered

Don't leave me in this cold, the cold chill of life,
Don't go away,
For I love you and life without you would just be a cold chill,
A cold chill forming into an arising mist,
The mist forming a barrier,
Blocking all hope for life,
Then the mist grows tighter and tighter until it starts to choke
Choking all life from me,
Then on the ground, the cold ground, I die.

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem to a friend.
I loved this friend dearly, and many
times she thought she might end it all.
This just expressed that I needed her.
