True Love

by Renee Kristine - Not entered

Tonight as the stars,
shine brightly up above.
I wonder where you are,
in that heavenly great big sjy.

Your presence brought my sunshine.
Your vacancy brought the rain.
And now that you are gone,
my life is an eternal thunderstorm.

You gave me hope to go on,
and the strength to live.
Now I'm beginning to think,
what my life is for.

As I think of you as I stare,
my thougts convey my emotions.
A tear escapes my eyes,
and my stomach ties in knots.

Your eyes were a gateway,
to your soul.
Your lips held secrets,
your heart only knew.

Your words charmed me,
Your touch made me weaken.
Why did you have to die like that,
and leave me all alone?

My life will be forever incomplete,
without you by my side.
You were my true love,my sould mate
Now you belong to the heavens.

Reason for writing:

My ex-boyfriend died this past weekend. We had planned to be together for Valentine's Day. He was shot. I heard the news and almost died myself. We were so close. This past week I headr a sad song and the words just started pouring out of me.
