a whisper in the dark, says true love is near. but is he telling lies? the truth is what i fear. my horiscopes i read, says to beware. the season of romance brings love into the air. the arrow of a cupid never lands on me. instead, it always misses. still, i wait so patiently. the flowers all in bloom. spread throughout the land. animals in pairs of two. couples hand in hand. how i long to have. my precious dream come true. be one-half of a couple. one part of two. but things don't go my way. nothing turns out right. still, on a glimmer of hope, i wish on stars so bright. will it ever happen? will it be just you and me? no one ever knows for sure. i guess we'll wait and see!
