I've been thinking about us, Our friendship, And the fun we had together, Our love, And how we Never seemed to have any Bad times, Most of all, I remember you, How you kissed me, How you held me tight, And now all that is gone, Your smiles, Your hugs, Gone, No farewell, No goodbye, Gone, All with, A blink of the eye.
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem after a traumatic event with a man I loved
dearly. I was inspired to submit this poem so those in the
world can see how it is I feel.
