Standing In Love

by Twinkie-Virgo - Not entered

You claim me to be part of your border
Holding all your millions of wonderful pieces intact
Yet, can it be any colder out here
As I must stand and watch the two of you falling in love
Seeing your little pieces falling into place,
Hearing your joy

It hurts to be in love with your spontaneity wildly stirred with your boyish charms
Witnessing your sensitivity in handing the world over to her in your arms
How can she possibly have any doubts
I understand what my heart dreams about
To be beside you, Standing in Love.

Reason for writing:

He and I once discussed how short lived love can be if you fall into it. If time did not play its cruel tricks on me, perhaps we could have had a chance to stand in love.
