___Within and Without
The howl of the wind sounds a yearnful song
And calls to me and to you, my friend
We're caught in the tide to be led out to sea
While the Doorway narrows but holds 'till the end
Blind lead the blind, try to slay humankind
The Storm e'er flows from The Black, my friend
To widen that path 'till it's filled 'round the bend
There's waves on the seas in the hearts of men
The eye within and without
It looks this way and about
Though darkened mist of doubt there
To look but not to see (the division)
There 'mongst the trees the wind stirs the leaves
But who knows where it's going
There in your heart lies the wage of your art
The fruit of which you are sowing
