Morning Dew

by D. Byron Sagitarius - Not entered

As I lie awake, the thought of you surrounds me like the dew of the morning
The coolness of the day wakes my senses to your outstretched arms of desire
I feel your nakedness against my soul as the fog blankets the world around us
Your kiss breaks through the clouds like the sun shining on the clear meadows of time
My hands explore the marvels of your form in search of the perfection you reflect
In my arms your earth trembles with the joy of the warmth of our love and life
From your lips I taste honey gathered to quench the creations need for sweetness
Let me fill your faint heart this morning with my strength and power of the rising sun
I want to feel this love raptured in your glorious mountains and fertile valleys
To reach the pinnacle of our love would be the ultimate desire of fulfillment
Dream with me this day as we sweep the dew from the ripe and succulent fields

Reason for writing:

Having been on the road for awhile, I longed for my lover who was at home.
