I'm living in a dream world
Full of pride and joy
I've got my significant other
My very special boy
I'm living in a nightmare
Full of pain and tears
Living the life of others 
And acting beyond my years
I'm living in the future
Hoping for the best
I go for all the glory
Praying to pass the test
I'm living in the present
Living from day to day
Dreaming of what's coming 
As in bed I lay
The nightmares and the dream worlds
Both go hand in hand
I know the future and the present
So I'll see the promised land
