Solitude

by Wendy - Not entered

Dusty roads,
The world is closing in.
Perfect silence ringing in my ears,
The magical moment of solitude.
Watching the days go by alone,
The blissful peace.
Marshmallow clouds dot the sky
Golden sunrays stretching across.
Feeling the soft gold falling on my face,
Inhaling the mellowy scent of the sky.
Lift me up,
Give me the wings to fly....
Loneliness is trickling down on me
Yet it doesn't depress me,
I embrace it
And keep its company.
It touches me , into my heart
It feels everything inside
My emotions, my dreams and fears...
It has become part of me.

Reason for writing:

Some people just feel as if they don't really have anyone for them... They feel lonely and hence, I was trying my best to capture that mood by writing this.
