Inner Stillness

by David W Bromley Sagittarius - Not entered

Hush do you here it
Stillness quiet all around
My heart pulsates in rhythm
My mind is preoccupied with
peace and prosperity
My soul dances with nature
My body bristles with contentment
My mind is free to retaliate
against evil and horrible thoughts
Nightmares no longer hunt me down
Tranquil waves of pleasure ripple
through my body

I'm partners with my spirit
The devil that was so near has vanished
The evil that lurked around every corner has disappeared
There is a faint rainbow in the heavens
It seems like years ago that darkness
was reaching out to grab my soul
To devour my spirit to compress my mind against learning
But with love hard work and caring
I'am free to dance with laughter and prosper
To strengthen my mind, Spirit and body

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem for a friend who had freed his soul from
drugs I write poetry on the emotional events entrenched in
my mind and for people with sorrow or depression anything
that will help
