Your Misery

by Andrew Petty - Not entered

I feel like kissing a rainbow
And catching flakes of snow
I want to feel the wind blow

I see things of life
The sun so bright
All this out of your sight

Stored back in your memory
Only for your mind to see
One more glimpse takes away
     Your Misery

Reason for writing:

A year ago I had a friend that died at the age of fifteen.
I couldn't help but always thinking that he can no longer
enjoy life like I still get to. I wrote this poem to help
me get through the days I miss him most. Those are the days
when I remember things we did together so we could both
enjoy the things of life. I know he would love to just see
another rainbow or snowflake, just one more time.
