somehow black

by jade Sand (lion star) - Not entered

my colorful world has black in it
when you seem to pass in and out of my day
this is your darkness that would ultamatley drown my entirety
but somehow give us nourishment, somberly i stay

perhaps a million smiles came out of that dark cave
that effortlessly seemed to drain out the real me
i longed to be some genre of a shimmering star
that somehow could lead you out of this black sea

engulfed by all the warmth of a dark womb
i could not measure up to the imbicuty of your mind
though we somehow seemed to see some exuberantly
       bright stars
the bleak reality is indefinite, we were and still are blind

Reason for writing:

My boyfriend and i had just broken up. He said i was not living up to expectations. i still have no idea why he had expectations in the first place.
