Look What You've Done

by Jada Andrews - Capricorn

I want you to look into my
saddened eyes,
and tell me it’s not your fault
I want you to see the tears
falling like rain
and say you’re not the cause of them.
I want you to see my broken heart,
and then hide your dirty hands
and say they didn’t break it.
I want you to see me, fallen
to the ground
and say you weren’t the one
who knocked me down.
I want you to see me writhing in agony,
and then tell me that you
didn’t kick me while I was down.
I want you to see me, blindly
searching for my shattered life,
and tell me it wasn’t your actions
that blinded me.
I want you to see me,
lying there dying,
and say it’s not your fault at all...

so I can call you a liar with my last breath.
