A beautiful relationship developed between the two. He was so scared because it was something so new. He'd had two sons by his first wife, but never a daughter before in his life. Though she was already five, he was the only father she had in her life. He was always so full of surprises, it made her think he was an angel in disguise. Though she was too young to remember, she's heard her mother and him reminising about how it was back then. The things they'd do, the places they'd go, and everything they'd all gone through. The years have went fast. She's now seventeen, and doesn't remember much of her past. She's no longer the innocent child she used to be, the one he once knew. She's grown to be independent, wild, and free. She could tell as she got older that things weren't the same. But she couldn't decide if it were he or she who had changed. But somehow things got off track and she's isn't sure if they will get the old times back. She wonders if he cares, wonders if he's noticed what's happened through the years. She fears she's waited much too long and she's not sure she can right all her wrongs. She wonders if he misses, at night, her hugs and kisses. And if he knows, even though she may get mad at him, her love for him could only grow. I wish I could say they worked things out and got on track again, but I can't even begin because you see, I'm the girl and he's my father, and I'm not sure how this story will end.
Reason for writing:
I wrote this about me and my stepfather. We have had some pretty rough times and I was trying to turn my life around. He never knew how much he meant to me(I say meant b/c my mother just divorced him). I think if he would have known my true feelings we would have gotten along much better.Birth sign: Not entered
