As daft fingers feel the sensation to weep and wax melted candles mirror your sleep you are the beauty that forces the pain to retreat, regardless of the waves that keep breaking. Though we never intended it to turn out this way the power of destiny pulls like a rage the silk of your lips hides my beast in its cage, my heart is the one that you've taken. When I breathe you in its impossible to abstain our love cuts through the darkness like a midnight train your velvet touch pushes the blood through my veins, when I'm not holding you my arms are aching. So I bite my lip and turn tears away and hourglass sand holds still as I say I love you stronger and deeper each day, you are half of my whole, no mistaking.
