Insanity

by Kristine Mangosing - Not entered

Something's missing...
that, I know
I can't quite grasp it
but it's there.
My arms reach out
to grab hold of my
SANITY
but they return empty-handed.
Lost in this restless calm,
blindly going in circles...
I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START!
My search is futile.
Mind is blank...
I'm surrounded by nothingness.
The little voice inside
drones on and on
driving me INSANE...
Come back,
I NEED YOU.

Reason for writing:

This poem is obviously about the overwhelming insanity that comes
with missing someone too much
