Whole and Complete Waking up in the morning, and my heart starts crying. I feel down and alone, my world is wrapped in darkness, I cannot see the light. Let me tell you this, For once and for all, the light has been and will always be there. Always shining gently on everyone, telling us it is time to wake up. Wake up and open our eyelids. Our eyes are the cameras of our body. They take in pictures of the goodness around us. So wake up and look through the dark clouds, haunting over the world like nasty, evil ghosts. Take in the picture of the light. Peeping between the clouds, smiling at you, singing to you, talking to you. Keep this picture always, and know at all times that the light is always shining even when our camera’s lid is close. Open up our heart. Look pass the reason why. We are whole and complete, right now and right here. Nothing to need at all. Remember, the light is always there!
Reason for writing:
This was actually a piece of work that I was required to submit into my seventh grade English class. I decided to submit this poem to Cyberpoem because I would like to give encouragements to those who feel that life seems worthless and bleak. I wish to remind them that where sorrow lies, joy can always be found. It is up to the one to feel the need, the desire to seek for the light. Remember that the sun is always there, even when clouds are blocking it. I really wish that this poem will bring joy, fulfillment, and purpose into the hearts of those who feel that they may not be helped. I hope that the love expressed in the poem will dip itself into all who has past wounds and that this love will heal the wounds with its radiant touch of warmth. The truth is that everyone one can be helped, and everyone can be healed, for it is never too late. One only needs to feel the urgent desire to seek out himself/herself. Remember, the light is always there!Birth sign: Not entered
