Everyone's a Critic

You may want the happy side of me,
Caught up in my text unexposed to light.
For I judge therefore I am;
Judged for what I write.

Nightmares escape from the darkness;
Oh the segregation of every school day.
With these everyday challenges,
I guess you can judge me on what I say.

I cannot write you happiness,
Nor something pretty pink and framed.
I write what's from my experiences,
From that fact alone, can I really be blamed?

People tell me to cheer up;
The People who shot down my dreams.
Oh the People that give up so easy,
Making life harder than it seems.

But if you want your happy poems,
Write them yourself you might.
I judge therefore I am;
Judged for what I write.

Reason for writing:

    Because peopel tell me to cheer up...write less 'gloomy' poems...I don't think that's possible if you don't have experience behind what you write.
