When we met months ago on-line The thought never entered my mind That we would become friends That I would so depend When I found love That I thought was from above I didn’t keep in touch ‘Cause I loved her too much The same day she broke my heart You appeared like a dart To help me mend To get passed that bend Even till this day When the world is dark and gray It is you that makes it go away As you will see There is so much you don’t know about me When we finally meet You will find a shy person at your feet For I’m open at this point and time ‘Cause I don’t see you except for in my mind In person I will be reserved Something you will not deserve You will wonder why I don’t open my heart Why we seem so far apart It is out of my control Something deep within my soul Just be aware It is not you I fear But that I really do care Thank you being there Thank you for taking the time to care Someday I will find my true love Could it be you, that was sent from above
