It Grows

by Moe Elzubeir - Not entered

I cross the oceans on stormg nights
I land on the shores of defeat
Wash my shame under the moonlight
Under the mask of the night, silently retreat

I drink the waters of innocent sacrifice
I bury early signs of a thinking brain
I swallow promises of a claimed paradise
Freeze my feelings, instill the pain

Leave quite sunshine for loud thunder
Love and beauty, too much for the distorted
Let the clouds in, make the skies surrender
My emotions are a mess? You come and sort it

Your tears, my source of inspiration
Your sobs are the fuel that moves me
Don't misinterpret my desperation
I'm a riddle and your crying solves me

Analyze. Diagnose.
Realize. It grows.

Drink me, I'm never ending like the ocean
Eat me alive, for I am bittersweet
Worry not, I sold out all of my emotions
Lights out, it's over.. I am one with defeat

Analyze. Diagnose.
Recognize how it grows.

Reason for writing:

I guess everyone can interpret this however they wish. It's pretty much about a girl. It's about pain, loss, and hopelessness.

If you can relate, drop me a line ;)
