The Wall

by Megan Bailey*virgo - Not entered

Stop hiding,
I'm taking down the wall.
I'll find out.
Tell me or I'll find out.
I'm taking down the wall.
Your heart will be exposed.
The feelings you feel,
I will see.
I'm taking down the wall.
I will see your pain,
and your joy.
I'm taking down the wall.
Your emotions will be exposed.
I'm taking down the wall.
Down crashes the wall
against your willl you're exposed.
In front of me lies,
The whole you.
I understand why the wall stood.
It protected you and me.
I see little joy.
I do see your pain.
I took down the wall.
Now I'm involved.
I got engulfed in your pain.
I took down the wall.
Now what do I do?
How do I help?
I took down the wall.
Want to help.
Just tell me where all this pain comes from?
I took down the wall.
I now know.
How do I help?
I took down the wall,
Now what???

Reason for writing:

This about getting to a heart that was well protected. I later found out why and how much pain they were in. All I wanted to do was help, but was unsure how to.
