i saw her throught the bevelled glass door. i hadn't seen sunshine before. now you can sit on a mountain feel the breeze touch you dance on the wind. the lonely soul torn down tumbleweed tumble she smiled leaning with languid ease then i shifted my stance she let me in the physical affection have sustained no long-term effects the emotional ramification cannot, as of yet be predicted the only prescription for such ailment surrender she is far from me now she is close in me now i want to be alone i want to hurt the world that has hurt me so and if she is gone i can blame her for the pain i can put this anger in a concrete frame i saw her cry for me i heard her breath terror she could feel the affliction inside me the scars on the outside yeah, they're healing the wound inside festers and swells and won't let her in now i am truly lonely now i am happy that she is free why won't she go because she just won't close the bevelled glass door.
