The Demon

by Phil - Gemini - Not entered

T H E D E M O N

A demon sleeps in all of us
He's hidden in our brain
And sometimes we can hear him buzz
And fill our head with pain.

He rests untill we let him out
And any feeling of revenge
Or any time we scream and shout
For him is an increase in strengh.

And suddenly he takes control
You know no longer what you do
You now are guilty, lost your soul
The mirror's picture is not you.

In agony you're damned to dwell
You now are evil and you're mean
Your body is an empty shell
Your true face will be never seen

You sacrificed your life for hate
You are a victim of your deeds
The demon inside is awake
And he has stolen all your needs

And now you suffer what has come
The demon is your master
You nevermore will see the sun
Your life is a disaster

You've had the last time on your own
The demon, he is always there
You feel the pain deep in your bone
And even in your hair

You cannot stand it anymore
And you find out that there's no friend
To help you, so you close the door
And then decide your end.
