The Unhappy Birthday

by The Masked Bard--Cancer - Not entered

The day has started:
I drempt a dream last night,
A dream that contained a fight
Yet little did I know what this day would show.

I got up and did my morning things,
I got on the bus without a fuss,
I got to school, I was such a fool,
And my friends found me.

Supprisingly a note was found
  adressed to Birthday Girl
Which was quickly thrown to the ground.
Suddenly we all raced after the Birthday Girl
as she look around 'till she found
the creator of the vicious note.

Then tention there was which fummed
  through the the two rivalries
  thickening angered deadly blood.
The fued began and blood was shed
While feaverish on lookers gawked in awe
  and shouted Hurrah!
Two friends ran in fear to stop this mess
for teachers would soon be near.

To the Birthday Girl's locker we went.
The bathroom was next were we all shook
with fear which we silently begged
  would dissapear.
Then to the health office we went,
A few friends parted 'cept the two
  friends once again stayed near.

With shock the three of us, one by one,
saw the vicios ceator consumed by tears.
Anger stired between their blood yet neither
  started another combat game.
The Birthday Girl washed her hand one again
While pain-filled fury filled the room.

The Lady Nurse cane in and took the vial note
While we all stood afloat.
The Lady Nurse came back and wished
  the two friends adieu.
They three said their goodbyes and gave caution.

Now it is First hour and all friends wait
  in nerve racking fear.
I am sure of myself that thy lifeless expression
on thy face doesn't hide the surging fear
in thy boold and in thine eyes.
I await a call to the office to tell my tale
Which I'm hoping will never come.
And I'm sure all the friends who witnessed this
  UnGodly scene feel the same.

So we all sit trying to relax
While I pray that the Birthday Girl will
see another day and that she will be okay.
I never got the chance to wish Happy Birthday
for I did not know my forseen dream
  would become a reality.
Oh please forgive me for not stopping this when I could.

Reason for writing:

This happened to a friend on her birthday. I had to tell someone or express it somehow so I decided to make a lil' jazzy shmazy poem.
