Angels

by Karilyn Kempton - Pisces - Not entered

In the darkest corners of the sky,
The stars glow dimly in the night.
Angels sweetly sing their songs,
Spreading their wings and taking flight.
Swimming in the seas of hope,
Gliding through the jewelled sky;
I envy their freedom, I envy their life,
I envy their bliss and how they fly.
On a whim they spread their wings;
They feed on peace and live on love.
They laugh their lovely musical laughs
As they slide down rainbows in the Heavens above.
Gracefully they fly around,
Placing dreams in children's brains;
Anything wrong they try to make right,
For they hate when we're in dire pain.
They piece together the puzzle of life,
Surviving in total harmony;
They live serenely without any fights,
That's something I wish for you and me.

Reason for writing:

    It came to me one day as I was contemplating life...
