The Battle

by The Masked Bard--Cancer - Not entered

When the day begins all is well
but as it goes on there is more to tell.
Once in school, vicious words
were said behind the hated''s head.

Two people's painful rage poisions their
  desolate veins.
Their anger changes their train of thought.
Their heart turns bitter cold
As pitiful words race through their
  critical minds.

A duel with words is misting through
  the cripsy air.
No one shall care, everyone will act
as if they're at a fair.
The day's end shall soon be here.
The two enemies hatred fuels;
  they are such fools.
The shrieking bells rang their ring as
teens' came sneaking in the hallway pace.

The two rivalries meet!
Evil, hatred filled glances are
  exchanged.
The hated steps in front of the other.
Jaws clench and ager flowed
  desperately through their deadly blood.
The other awaits patiently for the first
  punch to be thrown.
Yet supprisingly neither moved.
The hated offered a truce with
the other which was quickly accepted.

Smirks were made by both after they
  swore their solom oath.
Eventually the two became best
of friends 'till the bitter end.
So, for you see, fighting is not the
  way it must always be;
Friends can be made out of
  rivalries.

Reason for writing:

Well, ya see...I heard some mean people talking about some other people behind their backs. that made me pissed off...so i decided to write this. cuz ya know what? I think you should NEVER talk about a person behind their back unless you have the true guts to say it to their face.
