We could have worked things out But now it is too late To offer a solution For our hearts are filled with hate I'll never forget the memories Or all the times we spent I'll always remember our friendship And what all of it meant I'll never forget the laughter On those smiling faces Where our friendship was in my heart Are now just empty spaces We thought we'd be together Until the very end But the thought of us as enemies Is to painful to even mend Although our friendship has died And we'll never be together Deep in my heart I want you to know You'll be my true best friends forever
Reason for writing:
I wrote this for a group of best friends that held together through the summer of 1997 only to end up breaking apart. It was the best summer of my life but it was also the worst because it changed things forever. This is for Mysi, Dena, Ho, Jenny, and KrystieBirth sign: Not entered
