The Passing September 1992 The Passing-Part 1 To take the passion, the love, the desire, And replace them with despair, loss and loneliness, Is the terrifying power of a mass destructive emotion. To love is to lose all real emotional control. To give that control of ones innermost mind and heart, Is the highest responsibility one can bestow. Passion is not love, Desire is not love, Caring, trust, respect , With the ultimate feeling to become as one, Followed by the dissolving of the ego, Is a breakdown of the final barrier. This is love. If the final barrier has been dissolved, Then love is real and true. If this is ever achieved it should never be abandoned, As repairable it may be, It can never be fully restored. Give up what is fruitless habit, Control what is released only to the point of dignity, Love, cherish and be reborn while there is time, As the clock will wait not and cannot be turned back. I give you the final barrier - dissolved. I love you - eternally. The Passing-Part 2 Loves come and loves go. This is not real love, But security of habit caused by fear, Real love never ceases. Being prepared to die for someone, Shows the epitome of love. To receive that ÔhonourÕ, Is the epitome of control and power. To use the power wisely, Returns the love unharmed. To be careless, Is to invite death to take control, Of anotherÕs destiny. All power should be wielded with the utmost care. Never, never play with love. To play with love is to play with life. To play with life is to play God. No one should ever receive this honour, Should they not respect the power of love. You are my love, You control my love, You have the power, Use it with utmost care, It cannot be replaced, I will always honour , respect, And naturally, love you. The Passing-Part 3 I will take you away, To a place we can play, Forever and a day. This is a certainty, I will treat you with dignity, Forever and eternity. Fear not, to be with me, If you really believe, The love we feel. Love has no barriers, Age, race, religion or sex, Please know you are free with me. I love you, my Darling.
