You sit there Eyes filled with despair Your body aching Hands just shaking Thoughts running through your head Thoughts you will always dread Wanting to sit and cry for awhile Last night something happened Something so vile You want to keep it quiet By trying to hide it You don’t want your father to know That you were violated so I want to go to your side Allowing you to confide I want to help you Something I'm not allowed to do I fall within your sight You smile putting up a fight A smile so fake I can feel the sadness left in your wake How can somebody steal Something the one you love should only feel Something that robs your trust Causing you so much pain and disgust I wish I could find the one that hurt you And inflict as much pain as I wish to For that's all I can do for you Nothing can be said I just bowed my head Hoping for the best That someday you Will get this off your chest Allowing you to rest
Reason for writing:
A classmate came into the hospital I work at, she was raped the other night. I've seen others come in but know one I've ever known. I could not help her in anyway because of state laws.Birth sign: Not entered
