Facade

by Nbwitch: Scorpio - Not entered

As she is approach from behind
She stands up tall
Her back hides her many facades
It is so mysterious

As she looks away from the world
Neither rain nor shine can withhold her
For she is valiant, verbal and vibrant
In a quiet way she is outspoken
In a small way she is big

Her personality is that of self-assurance
As she stands high and mighty

Reason for writing:

Taking a ride along the Connecticut coastline at sunset. The poem expresses my impressions as I approached New Haven Lighthouse.
