COMING OF AGE

by Charles Ray - Not entered

I lost my virginity
In the backseat
Of a '52 Ford.
I was a clumsy youth
Eager to please
Without knowing what
I was suppose to do.
She was gentle
And guided me
To manhood.

Reason for writing:

Lately, as I read about the great moral controversies in this country, I recall more clearly growing up in the 50s. In some ways, those were the good old days, and even our vices seem minor in comparison to what we see today.
