November First

by K.D. Mc Entire - Not entered

My deep seated passion
to create
to elaborate
filling the pit within
with words
emotions
hidden sin
fades in the utter stillness
of an autumn day
my placid heart
beats in time
to the soft whispers
mine oh mine
to give the full evening grace
a smooth body
a fair face
delicate as new fallen snow
covering those
that move
that go
fumbling in the dark, dark night
ever searching for the light
unaware
of angels
silent plight

Reason for writing:

It was one of those perffect autumn afternoons. Normally I hate writing ryming poetry, because i feel I'm not good at it, but I'm faintly proud of this one. Comments?
