I gave you my soul Telling you all you wanted to know Of the ones that betrayed me so Recalling the pain when he betrayed you You reassured me It was something you would not do You should me how much you cared Through the words you shared From that point on I trusted you more Then anyone I had before Then you did What you promised you would not do You turned on me Betraying the trust I put in you Now the smile is gone Ripped from my face Is anyone ever to take your place The feelings I once had Have all been erased Cut from my heart With a dull knife Stealing away my very life I gave you my heart And with it came my trust You did nothing But turn them both into dust Leaving me filled with doubt Not willing to give my heart out Why you did this to me Why didn’t you hear my plea Not to betray me
