The Gatekeeper’s Tune Do you hear it? It’s rhythm is constantly shifting. Modulating. Be this. Be that. Be here. Be there. It is difficult to fathom. It must be reasonable or rationable. One would think. But the song of The Gatekeeper is not for me to know. My own song sings tp me. More brightly, more sweetly. It’s melody, it’s harmony are of my own choooooooooosing. If I dance to the tune of The Gatekeeper, I am a stringed-being. Devoid of my own freedom. I shall never know the tune of The Gatekeeper.
Reason for writing:
It seems to me to sum up the plight of the artist and or independent thinker. It is a manifesto of sorts for how I view the world and its constant pressure to conform. I represents my quest fot freemdom of expression and the need to be in control of my own thoughts, my own way of being, my own destiny.Birth sign: Not entered
