June

by Jeff Blum - Not entered

Your sweet like sugar cane
A lady raised up in my veins
A real pain
But ooh you feel so good

Change ooh pretty face
Out of reach away from all
The human race
Blind to all the writing on the wall

Always hiding what you are

I want you so dearly
I rape you in my head
It's just not a fight without you
In my bed

I'll choose any summer day
Burning mid-june sun
Your naked like a lie
Sheets are flying,
Miles and miles of smiles
A locomotive just screaming

For it's space

As the wine flows faster
Than you can swallow
You raise your pretty face
And smile. you blow the smoke
Of my gun, you turn,
Then you walk away.

Your eyes are t.v. blue

But there's nothing on this station
Frustration over-load,
My eyes just close
Every time you leave the room.

Reason for writing:

Actually, Jeff Blum is the lead singer in this band I've seen a few times. I love this song, and think it's good enough to be a poem...
