I've thought long and hard about this and I don't think that freedom is adequately represented by the bird it is better represented by the air all around us because it can go anywhere it needs to be everywhere but it doesn't have to be it certainly isn't on the ocean floor as much as it is on dry land so I guess the air has more freedom than the bird because the bird has to use its wings, otherwise what's the point the air has no constraints it can be stagnant like in a classroom in mid-July or it can be a tornado in April if it wants and another thing is that the bird needs the air but the air doesn't need the bird we need the air too maybe we're not as free as we might think
