CHILDREN GONE

by kenneth jones - Not entered

you might think that it hurts, and you might think that it is sad
but the hardest thing of all is when the children lose their dad

I said to the judge, well why is it so
I have always been there when they needed me most

I have changed their daipers and have combed their hair
I have done everything that she has done and the children know that I care

well why must you make me go without their love
and deprive me of the arms that I am so fond of

when will we get up and try to make a stand
because the law should look more at the love within the man

you might think that it hurts and you might think that its sad
but the hardest thing of all is when the children lose their dad.

Reason for writing:

the love and the loss of my children
