cultural killer

by Megan Bailey*virgo - Not entered

Sexism is a snake that slyly slithers through society,
Thriving on girl's souls.
This monster does not care that,
It causes immeaurable pain
I no longer cry from the wounds
Instead I've learned to accept the cruelity with a stone
face.
I keep the pain in till I reach the front door.
That's when I break down and weep.
My pain never goes away.
Sexism leaves scars as deep as an abyess.

Reason for writing:

I hope this makes guys think about the little sexist jokes they make and about grabbing girls. Maybe you will understand how much it hurts girls even if they don't show it to you.
