Halfness

by Nathan *Pisces* - Not entered

Halfness:

To journey into the shadow of oneself
To witness the blasted landscape and the
winding line between the cracked mirrors of the soul

I have glimpsed in the deepest night, those
things that lie in wait. Emanating greed of the sweet
forbidden pleasures, far into the swelling depths
of an almost tangible darkness...

The crude, painful plying of filth. Smeared into the wounds
of a selfish and martyred agony. These are the ones we all bear.
Serves to animate the low and debasing fears that I hide from.
I go out hunting - Trembling hand and sweating brow.
I am trapped. Rapt in that which I cannot name..

Reason for writing:

I have discovered all that humanity stands for.. And I find
it to be something I do not enjoy.. In fact I feel rather sick.
I absolutely agree that My view is in every way biased and based on
my own experience. (Note: I do not hold with the modern thinking that all people are basically good
Neither do I advocate the view that all people are bad.)
I have just written what my senses have led me into seeing.
Be it biased, wrong or wholly untrue: It is nonetheless my view to give.
