I was a fool To believe That you dreamed The same things as me. Misleading words of deceit Was it that hard to try? You said that you'd be there Or did you just lie? Is there really no secret? That to me you can't say? Or is this just Another chance to betray. As I step through the fog All motives are clear You never did love me It was that I most feared I found all the letters With shocking detail Of how your affair With another prevailed. How long were you hiding This horrid a fact? I don't know anymore My brain is all racked All I did was for you My love did not fade I had always hoped That your love wouldn't sway Why did you do this? I can't understand. I guess it doesn't matter Alone I now stand With my broken heart, I am left to bereave I was right, I was A fool who believed.
