I fell in love with a wonderful guy, (She says with a dreamy look in her eye), Of course he’s got four kids and a wife, But he tells her there’s room for all in his life. Do you remember those first few days? Or have they been lost in the depth of the haze, That surrounds you since you’ve been called to the floor, And named a cheat, and me a whore? You always said you’d take care of me. I found that distasteful - now can you see Why I hated that phrase, resented your talk? I knew you couldn’t walk that walk. A very important part of your life Is to always protect your kids and your wife. You’ve explained it so very carefully, You’re helping her (but hurting me). All I hear is of how you must, Build back your family’s love and trust. Mine doesn’t matter cause papers weren’t signed. You’re saving theirs but losing mine. Tell me again, I matter to you. Tell me I turn your skies brilliant blue. But I can’t touch, can’t call, can’t whine. You’ve got their love, but you’ve lost mine.Birth sign: Not entered
