When the sun becomes the night And the stars eclipse the day Innto nature I ride Standing on the mountain top Overlooking eternity The still, yet bustling scene Lay in my fingertips’ grasp But my hands belong To the one they hold Delicately resting in embrace And she stands there Speechless While the world stands still And her eyes quench the life She turns to face me Brush back her hair So flowing with the breeze Upon the rooftop of the world She locks her hold around me Securing me in joy As I gaze across my kingdom All of this cannot compare For I’d give it all away To have the peace And love of her
Reason for writing:
Most of my poems are written out of frustration. My one true insecurity is in relationships. Because I am afraid to instigate them, I spend time sadly dreaming of a chance to succeed. This one is just a vision; one torn from my eyes.Birth sign: Not entered
