the lower case

by Alex Shi - Not entered

timeless aging dreamless waves
crashing against rocks of forbidding caves

enter frightened holding light
sheltered hidden seems so trite

common ordinary nothing new
from a hole on the ground visited by so few

inside outside deeper i go
past all knowledge of what i know

suddenly close before i see
white pale walls they look to bleed

touch feel color comes forth
onto my body it takes this course

seeps ooze beneath this skin
hollow empty oh how i’ve been

lust anger hate i feel
further and further my soul it steals

passion driving i can withstand
power and will i am more than just man

climbing higher higher until i win
i dive into open and clense this sin

endless looming this forever path i take
nothing naught it can never break

I.
