Faith

by Jo Virgo - Not entered

As I sit here by my window
Watching the rain pour down
Listening to the tiny drops of nature
Bounce against the ground

Peacefulness fills my mind
Calmness feeds my soul
Thoughts of how he embraces me
Without so much as a touch

When the pain of life overcomes me
And the memories rule my mind
I know I can turn to him
Wanting to stop the pain that hides inside

His belief me and who I am
Has touched me more then he will ever know
Helping me fight the demons
That creep within my soul

If only I could repay him
For the gift of faith he has given me
To only help him fly
Like he has done for me

Reason for writing:

    My word of thanks.
