Forever

by Jo Virgo - Not entered

as I walk along the dark lonely street
I can feel the cold night air against my pale skin
the silence of the night comforts me
it makes me whole
then I hear footsteps in th distance
as they draw closer and closer to me
I can see a faint out line of a man in the distance,
who is this tall dark stranger?
my heart bets with anticipation
I feel him getting closer and closer
his eyes glow in the dark night
as we slowly pass each other
I can feel his pain
his coldness embraces me
making me want him
he grabs me, his eyes look right through me
I cannot scream, I do not want to scream
all at once I can feel my blood rush out of me
trickling down my neck
my life for his immortality
I feel for his pain
for now my body is empty and my soul set free to fly
and now he lets me go
continuing down that dark lonely street
alone, forever

Reason for writing:

    My fascination with vampires.
