Staring at the waters of effervescent sunshine I see nature’s vision Scintillating in the crimson skies of sunset A warm embrace Like summer’s sweet caress of love and vivation Wishing upon a star Your adhesive pulchritude captures bolts of lightning That glisten the perfection of dreams To one feathered by the moonlight Wishing to one day be swept into the heavens And form new stars, together
Reason for writing:
Most of my poems are written out of frustration. My one true insecurity is in relationships. Because I am afraid to instigate them, I spend time sadly dreaming of a chance to succeed. This one was the first poem I wrote, a while ago. I wrote it for my girlfriend at Christmas.Birth sign: Not entered
