As We Approach Utopia A bright new world awaits you and me Just around the corner A perfect world of harmony Where we can live in peace with one another A world of peace Free of human waste and debris Where man can easily subside And breathe with ease and comfort; This brand new World where peace does abide Is but only two light years away Can man compensate For all the careless negligence and nonchalance He has bestowed on this earth since time began? These past two thousand years of life it seems That man has sealed his fate From war to war and ruthless misunderstandings and savagery he has not accomplished much except to learn the art Of fighting with arms and wagging an open fist To promote a serene and harmonic place A paradise where love abides With God within its’ midst. —Mary Gonzalez©1998
Reason for writing:
As we approach the millenium, man must realize that only when he embraces peace and harmony can he experience joy and love. Man, with his selfishness has done much to destroy nature. How can we embrace a new world, when we have done our very best to destroy what God has given us?Birth sign: Not entered
